Castrol Tection

Does anybody use this? Have any thoughts? I have always been a castrol guy, i have also always been a gasser... if things need to change its cool just weighing my options. thanks

i asked about this a while back on bobistheoilguy after i found some on clearance and it got good reveiws for a conventional oil. I think you will be better off running the rotella 10w-30 synthetic blend though in the 6.0

the society of automotive engineers where nice enough to put a rating on the label stating what the oil meets. so why would they lie

dello, chevron, rotella, mobil. They are all good. change keep the oil changes under 6,000 miles.

I HAVE AN 05' F-250 W/ 6 LITER DIESEL. I JUST SWITCHED TO THE CASTROL 15W-40 2 OIL CHANGES AGO, BECAUSE I'VE ALWAYS BEEN A CASTROL GUY MYSELF. I PREVIOUSLY USED ROTELLA 15W-40, AND AFTER AROUND 9 TO 10,000 MILES NOW, I REALLY CANT TELL ANY DIFFERENCE????? THE ONLY DIFERENCE I SEE IS THAT IT'S NOT SO SOOTY SMELLING WHEN I CHANGE IT. I TRY NOT TO RUN OVER 5K ON IT. I GUESS IT'S JUST A MATTER OF OPINION, OR PREFERENCE. OPINIONS ARE LIKE A$$H@L%%, WE ALL HAVE THEM. THERE'A ALOT OF POST ON HERE ABOUT GUYS USING DIFERENT BRANDS, ETC... I'VE BEEN READING THE TEST RESULTS ON THE OIL, IT'S PRETTY INTERESTING, CHECK'EM OUT.

It's good oil, I would use it if I could find it in 10W-30.
