Block Heater Cord
Well I went to the local nut house today (Oppps I mean Ford Dealership) and they wanted $102.50 for the block heater cord assembly. I have read many post about people finding these same cords for 40-50 even as low as 20. Here is my question can anyone hook a fellow truck guy up with a link or a way of obtaining this part with out loosing my shirt and paying out the A$$ for it. Thanks in advance.

Found this one on Ebay.
Block heater cord for a 6.0 diesel - eBay (item 280608499884 end time Jan-02-11 13:29:44 PST) Or you can go to an International dealer and get the same cord cheaper. International part number is Z3500043. Also might want to make sure there already isn't a cord from the factory up there. If it's never been used they can be tucked up there pretty tight. |

Try Ebay I just bought one about two weeks ago for under 20.00. Install is straight forward and fairly easy.
Heres a link for ya. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Block...#ht_500wt_1182 Last edited by Sesco4; 12-28-2010 at 04:31 PM. |

I got my cord last week from O'Riellys last week for $17.50. I ordered it on wensday and had it the next afternoon. The install was not to bad.
Hard to believe Ford wants 100 plus for something that should have already been installed on the truck new. The list price was only 54k |
