Can any one tell me if the vc9 will dissolve the scaling in the cooling system? I used the Restore plus and all it did was wake the sleeping dog. It has broken loose the scaling and I am having a very hard time getting it flushed out. I have been flushing sense Thanksgiving and I am at the end of my rope. I do a flush at lunch time and before bed every day and I keep getting little particles of scaling out with every flush along with what looks like sand but if you let it dry and rub it with your fingers it turns to a powder. I donít see an end to it.

Alright, going to say this because my friend did it and it was recommended to him by every commercial diesel shop in this area.

Cascade. The powder dish soap. 1 cup of it for your entire cooling system. Do multiple flushes and see how that does.

No I am not joking. Yes my friend did it. Yes it turned out amazing.

VC9 does help clear crap out. Theres a thread floating around with the proper procedures and it also suggests using the GM cleaning agent... I forgot what it was called I will try and track it down
