Recently by 05' F250 CC 4x4 6.0L got stolen in Houston by a Crack Head, but was recovered with about $5K in damage (Not just a problem in Houston, average 3.6 times more likely to be stolen than the average stolen vehicle). I know I got lucky on the recovery, but want to advise everyone, these trucks are extremely HOT, and can be stolen in less time (< 1 min.) than it takes to type this message with just a Straight screwdriver and claw hammer. Has anyone had any experience with Vehicle Electronic Immobilization devices? I plan on putting one on when I get my truck back from the body shop.

A friend of mines truck was stolen from Kansas City and recovered about a week later. He thought they had used it to steal heavy equipment and steel from the damage inside the bed. Another friend had his stolen in St. Louis. His was recovered a few weeks later on a gravel road sitting on blocks. Both were King Ranch Edition. The one in St. Louis had a screwdriver sized hole in the drivers side door to gain entry.

I have a Viper on Mine. It works so dam well, that if my batteries go dead on the remote, I can't even get my **** truck to start until I deactivate the alarm. That is a great thing, but kinda pain sometimes. Even with the key in it, it wont start without the alarm tunred off.
