Trade In Value..

Soo I am wondering what to expect if/when I trade in my truck soon. Its an 2004 PS 6.0 with around 111,000. Interior is fair along with exterior. It is an extended cab with a 8ft bed and its an FX4 edition. I was thinking 20g if I am lucky? Any thoughts?

I just paid $21,700 for an 04 F-350 Lariat 4x4 extended cab short box. 82,000 miles mint inside and out. It's the one in my avatar.

You can check nada and kbb for current values. Or try autotrader and look for comps. Expect to get a few thousand less from a dealer. Or maybe the dealer will work with you if you're getting another truck...

You can go check out (edmunds.com) they will give you the value if you trade it in, sell it outright ect. At least you will get a ballpark figure. I hope this helps.

I guses trucks go for alot more around here.

I wanted to buy an 01 F250 similar to mine in 2005 and they wouldn't budge below 26,000. So I applied the same concept... 2004 model in 2007 - approx 24,000 bucks. I know I wouldn't let my truck go for anything less then 20k and mine is an 01.

Also, guess I overlooked the "trade-in" value part. I guess it would be closer to 19-20 k since they low ball you a lot.
