05 f250 problem...Need help

My truck started feeling like it's Mis-firing in overdrive the other day. I've tightened the Turbo tubes, changed the oil and fuel filter, and ran injector cleaner through it. It only does this in overdrive when its under a load before it shifts back to drive. Other than this problem the motor runs perfect. It's got 31K miles on it and has an Edge Juice w/ attitude and predator on it. I ran the DTC codes on the edge and it had about 6. I cleared them to see what would come back up and within about 5 minutes of driving it had the FICM Low Voltage error back on screen as well as Loss of communication with PCM.

Anyone have any ideas on what could be causing this?

I cleaned the EGR valve today and still doing the same thing. I also picked up another error code. Injectrol Control Pressure Low.

I would uninstall both chips, completely. disconnect the batteries for however long you wish to reset the kam and error codes. drive it and see if you get a cel. if you do, try and get a diagnostic tool to read the code and if it is p0603 clear it before taking it to the dealer. if it isn't 0603 then leave it there to help the tech. good luck.

oh and after you get it fixed tune that thing with an sct xcal2 the right way. it's night and day.

I took off the Edge last night so I could take it to the dealer today and it hasn't missed since. I'm going to drive it again tonight and see if all is well. Can I just get a regular SCT tuner and then download the program somewhere and update it?

my 04' had the same problem except it did it under no load and very unpredictable. i took it to the dealer and found out that it had a faulty wire harness which there is a recall on and they also had a recall on the transmission pin both items were replaced under warranty and both were recalls. since they have fixed it i have had no problems and i am running 430+ horsepower to the wheels.

from my experience with my edge Juice I dont really care for it. My SCT XCAL2 is coming in tommorow and cant wait. I would dump the EDGE and get a SCT from DJ.

I too, have an 04. You mentioned 2 recalls, 1 for the wire harness and 1 for trans. "pin?" I have recieved no notification on any recalls, Did you recieve any from Ford on these, or just luck ?
