06e17

So I brought my truck in about a month ago to get an oil leak checked out. While the truck was at Ford they took care of the 06E17 recall for me. Next day I was able to pick my truck up from Ford said everything was all set. Picked the truck up and about 10 miles down the road Check Engine Light came on with P0401 code (insufficient flow) so my buddy cleared it for me and about 5 miles later it came back on. Brought it into Ford the replaced the EGR valve and everything seemed fine. well a little over a week later (lastnight) I was on the highway and felt a loss of power about 2 minutes later Check Engine Light came on. Does this have anything to do with the 06E17 recall they did or do you guys have any other suggestions? Thanks

i think when i had that happen to my truck, they said it was good to go, then, like you i had the CEL come on mutiple times, they ended up having to replace my EBP sensor and clean the EBP tube along with replacing the EGR valve. AFter that it ran fine.

Im heading up to Southampton tomorrow(about 2hrs from where I am). I should be fine to drive up there even with my check engine light on reading the P0401 code right?

yea...u will be fine if its just a p0401. The latest programming also made them a little pickier about running conditions, so if you had a problem with the EGR developing (or a sticking turbo), the latest programming made the computer pick it up faster than it would have before.
