I found it
OK if you seen my previous post you know I found a 3 way switch in my truck which goes to a unknown programmer. I found it under the hood and its a black rectangle boc that says The Edge. Is this a good one and safe to run? Also I talked to a guy that had the truck and he said that ocasionally he noticed the water level would drop just a touch after pulling heavy loads for a while. Is this normal or the dreaded 6.0 head gasket problem in early stages> I sure hope not 30000 dollars is a chunk a change to have a problem. I been driving it a week no signs of problems> What yal think cause i know yall have some ansews lol

it is what i am running on my 03 with no problems. some people say edge eats tranmissions. could be. just had tranny replaced this week. my trans did not have any of the updates performed so i think that is what did it. i purchased my truck used and it had the chip on it already. i have been considering an sct with custom tunes, after ARP head studs.

my opinion is that you should take the truck back to stock, sell the edge, and buy an xcal2. Followed by enjoying your NEW truck and then maybe some ice cream. lol
