Oil Bypass System, Stainless Steel Braided PTFE Lines, Parts and Accessories
If you buy the filter mount and oil filter cap from nuc, get the fittings from ace, hoses from a hydrolic store, it will be about $110 for everything. But NUC was selling their oil filter mount for $20 on ebay, thats how I got it to be ~$100 for then bypass filter system. Thats what I did, im just waiting for the filter cap. I installed an oil by pass from NUC Motorsports. The mounting bracket is super sturdy and mounts using the two alternator bolts. I chose this set up because I did not want anything mounted to the frame of the truck as I am in the woods quite a bit and don't want anything hanging up in the oil lines. Another reason I chose NUC was because their mounting bracket allowed me to also mount a DieselSite coolant by pass filter right next to the oil by pass filter, again nothing hanging underneath the truck. All hose runs are short, neat and tidy. Both filters are very easy to change. Also the NUC oil by pass kit comes with stainless steel braided aircraft quality lines and fittings.
