I have been told by multiple station attendants that the $75 rule is from the CC companies not them.
Sucks tho!$3.03 as of this morning when I rolled past the station that I use. There is a BP over across the other side of town that has had diesel at $4.09. |

My brother lives in Seattle and the station he goes to has a $100 limit. On top of that you can't use the same card to fill up the rest of the way. You need to have 2 credit cards to fill up.

That would be the Thanksgiving Holiday! It is only two weeks away.
The way they figure it, demand will go up because more folks will be traveling for the holiday. Even though demand is not up right now, they start raising the prices to make a bit more ahead of time. "THEY" being the oil companies. The owners of the gas station aren't making all that much selling fuel. BTW - Around Sacramento, fuel at places like ARCO is around $3.25-ish, places like Chevron, Valero, Shell - $3.49+. |

Who knows, it sucks though. I guess we have to pay for the high quality winter blend
![]() I would not use that station. I would be very upset if I got almost full then had to go somewhere else. |

I don't know that I understand the limit thing. Most stations now make you run your card at the pump before you can even pump fuel so it's not like you can rip off the station. The station where I buy diesel lets me go in, leave my card and then the lady removes the limit. |
