Rev-X
I plan on ordering some by the weekend. Just trying to debate which kit. How often is this treatment recommended?
1) Two 4oz Bottles 2) Two 4oz Bottles, 8oz Fuel Additive, & Oil Analysis 3) Five 4oz Bottles, 8oz Fuel Additive, & Syringe for T-Case and Diffs Opinions? |

When I bought mine I just got two for the engine and it worked wonders! I personally wouldn't put it in diffs or t case. I haven't heard much about it. Fuel stuff might be worth a try.

2 bottles the first time cleans the engine very well. For the price I would not use it in anything else. Then use it again in the engine on the next 30,000 miles

Ordering the kit with the fuel additive and oil analysis tommorow.
So does the Rev-X go in before an oil change, or after? Any noticeable performance/economy changes? |

I'm still out to lunch about rev-x right now. I didn't notice any performance or economy changes and i'm about 1000 miles into this oil change w/motorcraft 15w-40. i noticed the fuel pressure regulator kit made more of a difference
I only have slight stiction problem for about the first 1-2 seconds after cold soak startup. it didn't fix any of that. it clears up so fast i can't even catch it on IDS, so i probably nothing even worth worrying about with so many people swearing by rev-x i'll probably keep using it. i just wish the **** was a little cheaper or available other than mailorder |

I too wish it was cheaper, but it was worth it because my stiction issue was pretty bad for mildly cold weather.

From my understanding, it goes in with new oil.

Yes, put it in the new oil.

For what it's worth, I think I was seeing mild stiction in the last cold snap. Real rough idle when it started, and when I took off, I could feel it missing a bit for the first mile or two.
Changed to Rotella T6 this time, autozone had a special on it. Come the next cold snap about a week after that oil change, much better. Smoother idle, and no missing when it's cold. Worth a try. |

Rev X flat out works for stiction issues. If it didnt cure your problems youve either got bad injectors or a dying FICM
You can use it two ways. One with new oil. Or two about halfway through an oil change to clean your injectors. It seems to work best with synthetics though |
