is this anti freeze good

I picked up some Rotella ELC, it says it meets or exceeds the requirements of EC-1. Is this ok to use and do i need to add anything to it for ph,thanks

yes its ok to use, i have it in my rig. no need to add anything except for distilled water (assuming you bought concentrate).

That's a good coolant, but I'd recommend doing a complete cooling system flush before adding it. And don't mix the gold coolant with the ELC.

That's fine to use, but as said do a cooling system flush with both VC-9 and Restore before switching to clean the cooling system out good.

ok thanks, i got a coolant filter and a egr delete on the way,so i will do a good flush then,is the restore the same blue stuff in the silver container you get from the local auto parts store.

NO ... Restore is a semi-clear / semi-thick liquid in a gallon bottle ... made my Fleetguard. Usually sold through Cummins Dealers. Expect to pay around $ 30.00 for 1 gallon. This is the stuff that eats the junk left over from the Gold Coolant.
