The Sweet Unit is getting a new turbo!

Looks like my turbo is toast with quite a bit of shaft play and it has a minor oil leak that is causing blue smoke out my exhaust. I already have a new Garrett Powermax on reserve with the guys at BulletProof, so as soon as they come in, my truck will be sporting some new bling...

Now, I just have to hope and pray that it happens before our Toys 4 Tots run in early December. I would hate to have to rock out in the Explorer with all the other diesel trucks...

Sux to hear about the turbo, but that is real cool that you have one on reserve already.

Look on the bright side, if you do have to rock the Explorer, at least it's a Ford.

Yeah, I have been rocking the explorer as a daily driver ever since the diagnosis.

I still can't wait to get my new turbo since I won't be able to tow the trailer to go play in the sand until it is replaced.... BRING ON THE TURBO!!!

Heck yeah!!! Thing about it was, about a month ago, I installed my "spare" turbo in a buddy's truck when his turbo exploded towing up a decent grade. I guess there must be a reason why things happen like they do. Time for some new tunes as well. I have heard that KEM has some great tuning for the Powermax. Any other tuners that you guys can recommend?
