Difference in warranties
I am curious if there is a difference in the stock 100k mile warranty for my 2006 f250 cclb compared to the ESP I took out when I bought the truck at 97K miles. The ESP only covers 13 components. Does anyone know what the original 100K covers?
I ask because I am at 99.7K and I am still having acceleration/starting delays. Normally this would be a no brainer for me and the truck goes to the shop, but I don't want to miss out on camping/hunting with the kiddo this weekend if the truck goes in the shop. |

well there are three different esp's so it really depends on which one you have.from the sounds of it you have the cheapest or mid grade one.the 100k warranty covers eng components only after 50k i believe.thats the way it is on my truck.i would think that that would fall under eng problems but i could be wrong.the starting delays should definitely fall under eng.
