Hey all, i'm looking at buying a 2005 F-250 6 speed 4X4, i've owned an OBS 7.3 so im not entirely new to diesels but i've heard nightmarish stories about 6.0's.. So, i've read all the things to look for before buying threads and took alot of time reading all the EGR stuff... this really worries me. However, are EGR Delete and Bypass the same thing? if not is one easier/better than the other and could a kit be installed by someone with limited mechanical knowledge in a weekend?
i'm really excited to get rid of my Honda
and be back into another PSD
, but my last one has me a little gun shy.
the truck in question has 110,000 miles anything i should really focus on looking at while test driving, and how long of a test drive should I give to find certain problems (within reason obviously).
