wondering if i need to upgrade transmission

I recently bought a 2006 Ford F250 powerstroke with an SCT x3 programmer with custom tunes, also stage 2 intake, downpipe, and dual 4 pipes with 6" tips. It also has 6" bds lift with 37" nitto terra grapplers on 20" rims. It only has stock gears. I was just wondering if i should upgrade gears to maybe get some better fuel economy or upgrade the torque converter before i rip out my transmission does anyone have any suggestions? Or any upgrades i should look into?

Did you have the tuner adjust for the bigger tiers? If you have re-tuned the truck to the bigger tires the transmission will handle it. Gears for the rear and the front (if you have 4x4) are a few 100 bucks, that may not be the best idea.

Whose tunes do you have?

I do not know who did the tunes, i bought it how it sits and the tunes were already in the programmer and the truck already had the 37's. So the best thing to do is go get the tuner reprogrammed?
