Oil Cooler - Thoughts?

So my truck is tuned, studded, and EGR cooler gone.

How often do these oil coolers bite the dust? I run 5/40 full synthetic and take care of my truck.

Is an upgraded oil cooler necessary?

Thoughts?

Do you have ECT and EOT gauges

Not yet. I need to find a set of gauges with EOT, ECT, and EGT. As soon as i find that combo, I will buy them and instal.

Dave, I bet you are going to tell me I need them and watch my oil temp right?

Correct you do need them. Take a look at the insight cts. I love it

I have it mounted on my pillar.

Most dash mount it though

Will the edge insight cs monitor EOT and ECT?

Yes it will, and you'd be surprise what your temps are...

So with the edge, I just pug it in, tap the exhaust manafold for EGT and im up and running? It doesnt mess with my tunes? I found a few used ones. Any issues with that?
