Has anybody tried this guy's EDAS system? It seems like a really great upgrade for the truck and this guy certainly knows his sh*t.

That has me very interested...I wonder where it reads from? If it reads from the OBD2 port then that will suck for those of us who have Edge Insight or anything that needs to stay connected the whole time.

Reminds me of another Bill.

Take that $199 and put it towards a CTS and you will have all the info you need. I guess for a company truck that type of thing might be easier. I love that it comes on in his voice. That is LOL funny!

hmmm. So, it measures coolant PSI ? Is that my understanding? If it measures coolant PSI to be at or over 16psi, then he comes on and tells you to shut your truck down?

Sorry but that guy is just a joke. The egr cooler doesn't take out the oil cooler, it is exactly the other way around. If you watch your ect and eot you know you have a problem long before you'll see 16psi.

The problems and solutions are known but evidently not by him. Anyone who knows how these motors really work just laugh at that tool.

I bought an Edge Insight to monitor my ECT & EOT based on your recommendation. Installed it in the dash pod last night and took it for a spin. Temps look great! I understand these motors much better now, by your insight, and what I've read on this forum. This guy seems like a total toolbag.
