Considering buying, evidence of tunner?

So I made up my mind to go to the dark side. Looked at this 06 PSD. Nice truck, has everything I want. However, I noticed this cable sticking out of the dash, right where most people would put a tuner. The plug looks like an "ear phone" type jack (like for an Ipod). This wouldn't be for a tuner would it? Those types of jacks are usually for output devices? I personally have not used a tuner before but I would suspect it would look more like a USB type plug. I didn't notice any additional speakers for a phone. Maybe it was for a GPS?

If the radio has the AUX button, that plug you see might be for using an mp3/iPod with the stock radio.

it also could be for like satellite radio. i know they use the 3.5mm jack, also my sct livewire uses a cat 5 cable(looks like an oversized telephone jack)

but like he said i would say its either a mp3/aux jack or for satellite radio

Yeah, I didn't think of the MP3 thing or notice if there was an aux button. Thanks for the input.
