Glow Plugs
Well I had a code pop up saying I have a #6 Glow Plug circut failure....what exactly does this mean? Is it something simple I can do myself or does it need taken to the dealer? Sorry this is my first 6.0L and first diesel pickup...thanks.

no,you can service it yourself,its a deep well 10mm and its right below the aluminum thing,look at the valve cover,right below that its aluminum,right below that you will find a line runnin the lenght of the heads,the glow plugs are plugged ointo this,popp em off and remove glowplug with the 10mm

nope....fairly easy to get to. One of the few things on these trucks that actually are!

thank you guys...sorry for my stupidity but which plug is #6....im assuming its the same location as the #6 injector but what is the sequence for the numbering..i looked online and couldnt find it. thanks again and sorry for my dumb questions
