6.0L injector and turbo swap

Will a 2005 6.0L injectors and turbo work on a 2003 6.0L motor?

After 240k miles my 2003 6.0L is developing injector turbo issues

Yes they will work. You need to use the 05 pedstal too.

I have heard that 03-04 injection system has more oil volume, is that true?

03 -04 injectors stock will not work on a late 04 and up.

Ford states that they will work, just do not intermingle them due to slightly different operating characteristics.

You can intermingle them just fine

In fact any reman injector you get has the 05 up standards.

Ford has been intermingling them in repairs for 2 years now

they showed a different part number when i had to order one from ford i thought they said something with the plug was different

The plug in harness is the same. There is a slight difference in the top end of the injector. Wish I had an 03 sitting here to compare it to, it's kind of hard for me to describe the differences. They will both interchange though.
