proper tire inflation?

06 6.0 power stroke dually

if i run unloaded most of the time, should i lower my rear pressure from 80 psi?
reason.. it seams to bubble or round out my tires. then they wear more in the middle indicating over inflation. they are 10 ply load range E.
i was thinking maybe 65 psi

I run the same ply and rating as you, when towing I run mine at 80psi, unloaded I run 65psi, and they wear evenly. You may need to experiment due to different tire manufacturers might use a softer or harder compounds.
