Pissed At SCT Tech Support!
My SCT locked up on me so I had to send it out to them to get it unlocked. After they gave me all the information to send it out to them I made sure i asked what specifically had to be in the box back to them so they could unlock it and get it back in a timely matter. The tech support replied by saying "alls you need to send is the TSX itself." I said "so just put the TSX in a box and send it to you." He replied with "yes just the TSX." S
So now its a week later and i recieved an email today saying that i never sent the dongle to them so they cant unlock the TSX. I called them and said i had no idea that i had to send the dongle because the guy only told me I had to send the TSX. So the only good thing that came out of the whoel situation was i got them to pay to ship the Dongle from NJ to Fla. So now i wont have the SCT for another week and half. This whole situation sucks all because you only get 5 unlocks. Which i also didnt know about. All well i guess you live and learn.

Apparently you can only return the truck to the stock tune 5 times and then it locks the tuner up. I had no idea that could happen. And i had it at ford 2 times so there was 2 unlocks and i updated it 1 time and added different tunes to it 2 times and that accounts for 5 unlocks. Next time i wont return it to its stock tune to do any of that stuff. And it costs 65 to get it unlocked plus the shipping to get it there.

OUCH! I would have said walk back into your storage room and find a friggin dongle on the shelf and send me back my sh!t.

something is wrong with that. i have returned my truck 3 times for dealer, and update. and 1 time for my custom tune i just got and i have 5 unlocks left still. i think something is wrong unless the tsx is different. thats goofy

I have returned my truck to stock well over 5 times have a ton of tunes and updates and still have 5 unlocks.

I have never heard of a SCT losing locks when you return it back to stock, then again I have an original X-3. I can return to stock everyday and never lose a lock. Sorry to here you had trouble with them, it sucks driving around in stock tune.

I think the TSX is differnet. Probably another scheme SCT came up with to make more friggin money. And i tried the cant you just use another dongle line and they said no apparently its paired with only my TSX. I knew i shouldve just gotten the livewire or x3. But i had to be a fancy A-hole and get the TSX
. And your right it does suck riding around on a stock tune. I hate it. And i hate pulling all the weight i pull with a stock tune. I just figured id post this in case anyone else has a TSX and experiences the same problems.

I thought the unlocks were used when switching to a different VIN
