Need new motor?!?!?!?!
So we did a compression test on my truck today and the number 6 cylinder has no compression at all. The injector is done and the glow plug was destroyed.
I know we have to take the head off to check to see what all is damaged but would it be easier to just buy another motor??? |

no if you have the tools and are so inclined to do it yourself just pull the head off and check it if the piston is jacked but the sidewall is OK just do a valve job on the head replace the parts and put a new piston in it i am currently doing the same on number 8 cyl so far with upgraded head studs gaskets and getting but heads done i am still below 2k a new motor is between 4-7k and you don't know what you are getting...
