Magnaflow?????

Hey guys!! I just installed my new exhaust on my 2005 F250 6.0L. From the down pipe back is 5" no cc or muffler. It sounds great only one problem. I travel alot for hunting and the huming muffler noise will get pretty anoying after several hours on the road. My question is wil putting a magnaflow muffler or one of those inline muflers dampin the humming noise at all?

Any help would be great!!!!

I have a Magnaflow muffler, no cat and with windows up it's quiet. 2005 F350.

Not to steal your thread but will a 4" straight pipe have the same annoying drone?

Thanks 6.0ops... where is your muffler located? is it right before the rear axel? And with the muffler do you still get the wistle noise.

you'll get the whistle, just wont be nearly as loud, toned down. my truck is 5" straightpiped and the drone at 65mph on cruise isnt bad at all windows up or down.

I have a long bed crew cab the muffler is pretty much in the stock location, and yes it still has a hiss but you only hear it at the tip. Good luck.
