Salvage titles

2006 Ford F250 Powerstroke Diesel, SuperCab, 4x4, Low Miles ! ! !

Any reason not to buy a salvage title? I know the obvious ones are it will be hard to sell, and may be hard to get a loan on. But other than that is there a reason not to buy one, as long as they can prove its been repaired by a certified shop and all done correctly?

an 06' with 40k on it for that price is un heard of in my books, seems a little to good to be true

Yeah im going to call them this morning here.

I guess being salvaged due to water would kill the theory, i would never buy anything thats had water damage. But if it was a wreck and it was correctly repaired by a good shop it seems like a great deal!

It could be tough to get someone to insure it since it has already been totaled.

Okay awesome! If its not water damage i am going to go take a look at it.

What does the whole 5 speed transmission mean, it says in there that 4 speed is standard but i didnt think ford made 2 different auto's? Are all 5r110 transmissions 4 speeds or 5 speeds?

It might be a theft recovery? I agree on the water damage part though

Yeah that is true, a theft recovery would be the best honestly! As long as its still all there at least.
