When did ford start installing the updatd STC fitting on the 6.0?

My truck was built November of 2005 making it a job 2 truck I assume? I had heard that it may already have the updated STC fitting, is this true?

Mine was built in Nov. '05 too, and it didn't... It does now though.

It's a fitting that connects to the HPOP or highpressure oil pump. If/when a 6.0s fitting blows out, it leaves the truck completely disabled on the side of the road.
The STC is supposedly more reliable than the threaded fittings.
But I've seen the STC fittings blow up too, they just don't as often as the threaded ones

Your truck DOESN'T have it. They put the updated fitting in the '07 trucks.

Azkcr- you might wanna hang on to that. or go ahead and swap em out.
