SRW or DRW?

Thinking about selling my old 95 ps crew 4x4 that we used to tow the boat for an 03-05. Wanted a crew 4x4 dually but not sure if the dually is actually warranted. Only tow the boat about 6x yr, 4 hrs max one way. This truck would also be my daily driver unlike the other truck.

Whats the opinions on if a dually helps that much more when towing 14k lbs a handful of times a yr compared to just driving around town.

With towing 14k of weight, looks like your better off getting the DRW, for legal and safety reasons. The SRW for an '05 CC SRW auto trans, is only rated at 12,500#. Were as a '05 CC DRW auto trans is rated for 15,000#. Here's a link to look at tow cap.
