Question concerning upgrading to stack
So I have a 4" MBRP exhaust and I would like to change it to a single 8" stack. Do I have to replace the whole exhaust or can I just get by with buying a MBRP stack and the pipe that goes through the bed? I wasn't sure if I could cut my exhaust under the truck and have a muffler shop feed it up through. Sorry if this is a stupid question.

You will need some flex pipe and a 90 and then run it to the Y but I would suggest selling it and going with a stack kit why butcher a great system just my .02 cents

I have the same size truck you do, i had 4" MBRP turbo back, and also converted to a stack. You dont need to butcher your existing exhaust, as long as it is not welded together. Take the back half off and there is a nice seam under the cab. You will need the stack, all piping to get through the bed and under the truck, a 90 degree elbow and about 8-10" of flex pipe. The only down side is you will be using the downpipe and some piping so you cant sell the exhaust together as a whole.
