8 codes looking for some direction
I bought an Autoenginuity and started working with it today now that I got my ficm back from swamps. Actually I have 11 codes but that one is a ficm code and I am pretty sure that is because I have a 58volt and 2 from the EGR delete .
I have 90hp injectors from RCD (I know about them...NOW ) and I am pretty sure they are the cause of some or all of the problem. Here is what I got From the KOER test p0269 cyl#3 contribution fault egr code p0611 ficm p1408 egr p02290 ICP too low Then after a drive I got some more codes p0269 cyl#3 contribution p0272 cyl#4 contribution p0300 random misfire p0305 cyl#5 misfire p0306 cyl#6 misfire p0308 cyl#8 misfire The truck does run with a miss but still pretty strong and a bit more smoke than usual. Also it does start when it is hot with no problems. I do have some used stock injectors on the way to replace the RCD injectors, I am sending them back to be fixed as I paid for a 1 year warranty from them (like that means much ) but I will still try. What do you think? |

Yeah, you need to get the RCD injectors out of there and run your tests again.

I am hoping that they come in with the mail tomorrow morning.

Update
Got rid of the RCD CRAP, put in new Ford reman's and guess what... No codes, just a perfect running EX. It has never started better and it was 35 when I fired it up last night! |

Good luck trying to get RCD to stand behind their junk. Glad you are running good now. Sorry to see yet another Stroker fall victim to RCD's junk.
