Ok so I took it to the dealer
Had a check engine light and it was a bad ficm. While it was there they did the rear brakes also..I get the truck home everything is fine.Than I look at the motor and there is no coolant in the degas bottle. It has always stayed at the minunum since I got the truck 3yrs ago. They had to move it to get to the ficm and forgot to fill it???

That would be my guess, since typically to swap the FICM it's easoer to drain the degas bottle and move it out of the way. They probably just forgot to refill.

Ok so I had the new ficm installed and the truck starts and runs 100 times better that it was...But I was getting between 14-15mpg city and now i'm 9-10mpg..Is that even possible or does the computer have to re-learn
..I was like holy sh!#!!I was getting great mileage..Did they re-flash or I have no idea,,lol,,this was the read out which I always use....

Sounds like they reflashed it.

The FICM they swapped in was probably blank, so it had to be tuned.... And the latest flash SUCKS for mileage.

Damn that sux.I was getting 14-15city and 18-22hwy.Will the mileage come back?

Probably not. The latest flash blows for fuel economy. Sorry bud.

Get a FICM tune from PHP and your truck will have better throttle response AND get some of your mileage back.
