Horn Pad

OK I've done a search and cant find anything on horn pad removal. I have a 2005 F250 6.0 Is the horn pad a servicable part or is it a part of the airbag? I believe mine is bad and would like to know how to remove it and take a look.

Are you saying that your horn pad is bad or the horn switch itself?

you'll have to pull the battery cables on your truck( let it sit for about an hour-----airbag capacitor will still allow to the airbag to go off if you pull immediately without waiting for the capacitors to drain. ) there's 2 tabs on back of the steering wheel and it's just 2 screws, unscrew those and it pulls right off.
