Data Overload

Man, I just picked up my first PSD a couple of weeks ago, an F250 2006 CCLB King Ranch and I haven't slept since. I have been reading the site instead of working, sleeping, even skipped the lawn over the weekend. I can't believe the amount of knowledge in this place.

I frequent a few forums(kayak fishing, trojan boats, football) and nothing compares to this place. The amount of actual data, knowledge, and no how is second to none. I have never had a diesel and I am learning something new every minute.

Thanks upfront for the help everyone has provided so for.

Just ordered my first mod/product, coolant filter, from DieselSite, and look forward to many more once my ESP is up.

Mike

Spent the weekend putting that down on my seats. You aren't kidding about the smell. Reminded me of younger years and spending time at my family's farm. It definitely has that brand new leather saddle smell.

Debating what I am going to do next. Most likely going to pick up a Insight CS or CTS(if I can sell my Actron 9180). I am having a throttle response issue, so it will definitely be something to cure that. A week after getting the truck, had the oil cooler and FICM replaced

If I am at a dead stop or rolling, it takes a solid 3 to 4 seconds for the truck to gather and take off. Dealer is telling me it's normal, and I am calling BS. Going to change the fuel filters this weekend, before I worry too much.

Mine does the same thing, watch your boost gauge build. Once the PSI is there she goes like a raped ape. Its the turbo lag.

Definitely have to hold on once she starts to whistle. If that is normal, I am just going to have to figure out how to be patient in traffic. Only really bothers me when I am in bumper to bumper and try to jump over.
