early 6.0

I am selling my obs to upgrade to a superduty truck, and i seem to be finding alot of early 6.0 trucks for crazy cheap. Alot cheaper than say like a 02 7.3 Is it worth the risk to buy an 03-04 6.0?? Like this one for example..

2004 F-250 LARIAT DIESEL TRUCK

I love the 6.0 power but i need a dependble truck for work and such.. What would you guys invest in??

thanks in advance

if you get serious about it do some research and get an oasis. there are issues but they can be dependable trucks that make a good bit of power. bismic had a post not sure if it is a sticky here but it was what to look for in a 6.0

They are amazing motors and can be very reliable if well cared for. I would avoid trucks on CL unless you go see the truck in person and the owner has atleast some service records. Then get an oasis report to look over. All in all, I'd take a 6.0 over a 7.3 anyday.

yeah I would tend to agree.... These motors had some problems with a few trucks. You can spend 1k on them and have a great motor though, better mpg than a 7.3 and lots of power.

That is a smokin deal. Before going to look at it, I would get the VIN and run a Carfax and Oasis reports. You don't want to buy someone elses polished turd.
