Red Flags

Hello All. Powerstroke newB here. I've been lurking for a few weeks. At first I was a bit hesitant to purchase the 6.0, but after reading informative advice from many of the members here I feel more comfortable moving forward with purchasing my next truck.
Here's my deal: I'm pursuing a 06 F350 SRW with about 86k on the clock. So far the Carfax and Oasis has checked out fine. I'm gonna see the truck this Saturday.

Is there anything specific under the hood or at the chassis I need to look out for? Any red flags I should be aware of?

Thanks for everybody's help.

Here is a great link for buying used:

buying used, what to look for? - Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums

Also, if it has a key pad on the door, make sure to get the factory code for it so you can change it. Or you will be back here asking where it is located.

I recommend getting a Scangauge II or Edge Insight and check the vitals ECT, EOT, Tranny temps. and everything else you can scan. You will then have the begining of a good set of gauges for which ever truck you but. Autozone may have one in stock of the Scangauge II. Have fun! When you romp on it, you will be hooked if it's running great.
