higher mileage and mods

At what mileage do you guys think its necessary to start being more concerned or cautious about mods? My truck has been great and now has 83k on the clock. I have basic mods, CAI, innovative tunes, exhaust, studs, EGR delete. I dont push my truck hard and rarely pull a 25ft fishing boat.

That being said if all the 6.0 weakness's are addressed and at my current power level just using my truck as a daily driver, it "should" be ok passed 100k? Really just curious what you guys think.

Thanks,
Jon

You're studded with an EGR delete. From what I've read those are the biggest things to do. You should think about a coolant filter and maybe the CCV mod I've been reading more and more about that. Beyond that your truck should last you a long long time.

I got a strange call this morning from Ford. They called b/c of a recent service I had on my truck consisting of a oil change and trans flush. Asked if the service was good, blah, blah. Whats weird is they asked me if I wanted a new truck and that my truck qualified for me to get some discount on a new superduty? Said I would get a great deal if I wanted b/c the local dealer wanted to push some new trucks through and whatnot.

Anyone else get a call like that? I'm sure its just a sales gimmick but wanted to see if it actually had any truth to it...?

my dealer still calls me all the time when they get a used diesel in. I made the mistake of giving the salesman my number when i was looking for a powerstroke
