Question about my 6.0 in the shop.

Talked to the dealership this morning and they said they ordered a new shortblock this morning. What exactly does that entail? Is it basically a new engine minus the turbo, intake, alternator, a/c compressor, etc. or is it just the block, crank, pistons, etc and no heads? Just wonderin.

shortblock normally means, block crank rods and pistons, no heads

Too bad you need it next weekend. You could have had the heads sent off for fire rings..... .

If you need me to, I can come up and pick up the toy hauler!

right now would be a good time to get some ARP head studs from nate during the group buy and have them put on your new short block
