Head Studs

Ford Dealer replaced my head studs under warranty awhile back, I have been wondering if they replaced them with OEM or did they upgrad their OEM studs since my truck was built. Anybody know? (they wouldn't do the ARP's under warranty)

They only put new OEM studs back in, exact same as the ones that came out. SOMETIMES if you talk with the actual tech and give him the studs, maybe kick him down a little green for helping you out, he will do it. Just really depends on the dealership and the tech.

I know around here alot of dealerships wont even let you talk to the techs. All you get to talk to is the damn service rep who is usually by the book.

Too late for you now but I would have went from dealership to dealership until I found one that would do it for me.
