Engine light on

So my 05 just flipped 70,000mi and my engine light came on.Truck runs great absolutely no problems.Stupid question I know but what should I do?,,Go to dealer or?

About the only way to find out why the light is on is to get the codes read.

Your options would be: Find someone in your area that has a code reader, Go buy a code reader or take the truck in for service (either the dealer or a local diesel repair facility)

Ok thx.I guess i'll get it to the dealer..I have the extened warranty but i'm sure what ever is wrong it won't be covered

Very true Isakson,but I always think the worst.Horrible I know but my luck is never good it seems,lol,,Just thought maybe I hit a 70,000mi service light.....
