It says on the website that it is compatible with Mercon SP, which is what is stated in my '06 Manual.
I would 100% make sure tho, it would suck azz to F up the tranny...

I would really like to use amsoil in the transmission but I do not want to risk it. So I just put in LV

Send a message via AIM to FastFocus
if you switch to Amsoil in the trans you need this: AMSOIL - Synthetic Fuel Efficient Automatic Transmission Fluid.
its Low Viscosity which is the same as the Ford SP and LV. The Universal stuff is what could cause problems.

That's the right stuff for the 5R110 tranny we have. I will be using that on my next change which will be pretty soon. I have about 30k on my current tranny fluid.

I just put in 2 liters of Royal Purple ATF (mercon) into my transfer case at $17 per liter, OUCH!! The store didn't have Amsoil or else I would've got that, just needed it ASAP. I see the Amsoil sells for 10.50 per qt/liter on the web sites, much better price.
