A couple of questions for you guys
Hey guys. I have a couple of questions I need some help with. First off, my cruise control does not work. Does anyone know what can cause this? My horn doesn't work either, not sure if they could be related or not. I took the horn cover off the steering wheel and I have a connector behind there that is not plugged in. My airbag light is on on the dash. There is a circular piece in the center of the horn cover that looks like a connector can be plugged into it. I believe it is the airbag? The connector I have not hooked up to anything is a female side but doesn't match the male side on the circular piece. I don't know if this helps but the airbag light flashes twice, pauses then flashes nine more times before it stays on.
The second question is, my outside air temperature on the message center is always measuring -40 degrees. Anyone know what to do to fix this? Sorry so long, just trying to make it understandable the best way I know how. Thanks for the help guys! |

Answer!
Hey i was reading your guy's post ab the problems your both having and it sounds like it your Clock Spring. The reason i know this is because my 07 just did the same exact thing and so we went ahead and did the clock spring and it fixed it no problem. So im sure thats the problem with yours. Im pretty sure that the clock spring is a Ford only part tho. The clock spring from ford cost me $75. I took my truck to my mechanic and it swapped it out in less than 15 minutes. If you have a puller u could just do it yourself. But hope this helps guys.
