Rotella t5 10w30 for towing

Is anybody using this oil while towing, just curious cause my local wal mart has it for 11.50 a gal. currently am useing ford 15w40 and thinking about switching.

It is unsertain if it is better, the same, or worse for towing untill we get some oil analysis posted.

I would prefer not to use a 30W oil for towing. If you have cold start issues then I would siggest switch to 5W-40, or you can stick with 15W-40. If you want to stick with Rotela, 5W-40 is $19 at the wallmart near me.

10w30 in the 6.0 is fine. Towing or otherwise. Ford is actually recommending it for use in the 6.0.

there is an active thread with well over 200 posts concerning this very issue. one of my uoa's along with others are posted on the first page, 10w-30 at least in my app, is proving stellar

I am using it and I tow quite a bit. Unfortunately, I don't have my oil analysis just yet.
