irratic popping after start up in drive thru

Just like the title says. When I pull into the drivethru I always turn the rig off to order. When I restart the truck sputters, pops and is erratic. Only codes are 0403 0405 the egr is unplugged. RCD delete is on the way. Oil and filter and fuel filters have about 3k on them. stock tune in for a couple months. starts normal every morning it's only when I hot start in the drive thru. what do you guys think?

Plug the EGR valve back in and see if it still does it. Both codes are EGR codes.

it does it with the egr plugged in. I can't confirm but I have a feeling it's stuck open I'm gonna dig into it

Yeah, pull the EGR valve and clean it up real good.

Yes, just don't immerse it in the stuff.

cool. carb cleaner and the oring set, check. could the egr valve be causing the popping on a hot start? Haven't ever heard of that symptom except for hpop issues.
