Is this a good deal?
Thinking about having some work done to my 04 F250 6.0, I am basically doing everything to be proactive about problems that might arise in the future. My truck has 98K miles on right now and I bought it used earlier this year with 94K on it.
So based on that information I asked a performance shop to do work on the motor like new studs, EGR, and few other items. Is the price I was given fair based on the work? Headgaskets ARP Studs Welded EGR Solid Uppipe Sct with custom tunes (tow, street, race) New injector o-rings,intake gaskets and all other misc gaskets. Oil change Cooling flush and all fluids Machine work Labor Total with tax is 4494.90 Good? |

seems high for just getting head studs, tuner, solid up pipe, but I do my own engine work so almost any number beyond parts seem high. Oil cooler rebuild should be done while your at it.

It is in the ballpark average for that amount of work. There is a lot of man hours that goes into doing all of that and keep in mind that you are paying for someones expertise.

Are you getting injectors? Not sure why you would get injector o-rings...
