Issue While Greasing Front End

Well I was greasing all the zerk fittings on the front end of my truck and on one when I put in a couple pumps the grease started coming out from under the seal? It was the one that's attached to the pitman arm. My question is, is this bad? The rubber isn't cracked or anything. It leaked out a bit and that was it. I wiped off and went about my way...

Yea I didn't notice anything was wrong. I just didn't know if this was normal or not. I'll do the same, when it becomes a problem I'll change it out. Can't cost to much to do, parts wise...

I believe it is, you'd have to replace the whole bar itself, I think I cant remeber think maybe thats why I never replaced it.

Weird, my truck doesn't have any grease fittings. Is that an '03-'04 thing?

mine has 2 zerk fittings on the 4X4 universal joints on the knuckles. My friends 03 has them on the steering ball joints, i do not.
It is normal for them to leak

That's perfectly normal for them to leak a little grease when they are greased. And yes you can replace just the drag link end at the pitman arm by itself.

Thanks, that's what I thought. If it gets any worse then I'll change it out...
