what should I do?

I did the Zoodad mod to my truck this weekend should I put some netting over the hole so nothing gets in there ?

What has everyone else done when they did the Zoodad mod?

I have left mine open. The only time I would really be concerned is in a real heavy snow. The snow could get packed in there and stop the air flow. Other than that, I can not think of any problems. I have never had an issue even in the snow with mine being open.

ok thanks I live in FL so I hope not to have any problem with snow but we have lots of bugs (lovebugs, mayflys, mosquitos) that I did not know if I should put a screen thanks for the quick reply

I looked in mine the other day and there were a few little pieces of pine straw in mine, so I think a screen woujld be a good choice.

I think I might I don't think it would hurt
besides anything is better than what the air was going through i had read post on here that said how it looked but I was shocked when I saw it

Kinda depends on what you local conditions are. There are guys that have put a small piece of screen over as well. I dont think there would be a problem with that at all. I have had no issues though.

yeah it's pretty open, I'm going to put a screeen on mine to keep the little stuff out of the filter

Also, I think some guys have put velcro or some sort of snap or something on their screen, so it can be put on and pulled off with ease.
