EGT's how high have you gotten

I would like to hear from the people that run stock only tunes and have a EGT guage. What is the highest EGT you have ever seen?

980-1000 i believe

Stock tune....highest ever was about 1000-1100 deg. That's with my Jobe Intake and 5" exhaust though. I dunno about a COMPLETELY stock truck.

with my current mods and the chip on stock i've seen maybe 1050.

1400 for a very short period. That is with my current mods.

my is bone stock 96er auto tranny 4x4. the highest i have gotten is 1150 unloaded.

I was getting spikes over 1200*---edge on stock, K&N intake, 4"straight exhaust

thanks man good information, that is exactly what Im wanting to know. 1400 wont scare me as much now.
