Hi there. I'm new to the forum. I just got a 2003 F250 with the 6.0 and it runs great. It has 155,000 miles but after going through the service records it looks like the original owner took good care of it. I've seen a lot of posts about people trying to get that "turbo whistle".... well... i have it like crazy except I dont want it LOL. Does anyone have any idea how to reduce it? Thanks.

The truck will treat you like you treat it. If you dog it all the time, you run the chance of damaging parts. Yes, you can get on it, just don't make it a habit of driving it like you stole it.

Your truck will treat you like you treat it. If you drive it like you stole it all the time, you run the risk of breaking something. You can get on it when you want...just beware on not over doing it.

Build date

Look on the right side value cover and you will see the engine build date.

i dont think they have fixed them, we have about 20, 6.0l 2006 trucks and they are all having EGR troubles as well as a few bad injectors. other than that they seem to be holding up rather well, considering the abuse they recieve over here!
