I was going to replace my air filter but the only one in stock was $85. So, what are your sugestions with this? Cold air kit or buy a new filter.
Also, what brands do you recomend? Cheers! |

Through my searches here it would seem most people recommend keeping your stock setup/filter as it should flow well enough for anyone under 500 horsepower.

I am running the K&N kit just for this reason. I am about to swap a AEM driflow air filter onto it though for the added filtration.
Yes most people here are dead set on keeping the stock donaldson filter. My K&N kit has already paid for itself seeing as how the stock donaldsons cost 75-85 a pop every 10k miles. |

If you're gonna swap to a Cold Air, grab an AFE Stage II. That's what I'll be doing!

If you have HP over 500, then go for it If you like the sound, then go for it If you just want to do it, then go for it As far as saving money, it just doesn't pay out. |
