'07 F350, which mods to start with?

Mainly concerned with fuel mileage, only towing i do is golf clubs and softball equipment! (BY THE WAY, there should be a sticky for fuel mileage tips!)

'07 F350 Lariat Outlaw CC SB
- 131k miles
- Looks to be completely stock

Exhaust - I've read this doesn't improve MPG, even the removal of the cats?
Replace fuel filter?
Clean air filter?
Certain brand/type of oil?
Any additives?
Programmer - I have a SCT X2, but I'd like to get my MPG higher to start, before I buy a custom tune

Any other tips?

Here is my list:

#1: Gauges. Edge Insight or some analog gauges (EGT, Trans, Fuel Pressure, EOT, ECT)
#2: Exhaust. MBRP 4" Turbo Back with Cat Delete
#3: Intake. Keep the stocker, no need for any aftermarket. Do the ZooDad Mod and call it done.
#4: Tuner. SCT with custom tunes from Eric, Matt, or Vivian.
#5 (optional, but reccomended): EGR Delete and ARP Head Studs.

I've already got an SCTxcal2, any advantages to the 3?

Lose the cat, keep the muffler?

Nope, no difference.

I would go with a 4" MBRP Turbo Back system with a cat delete.
